Celia has lost her husband a couple of years ago and is now a single mother of the seven year old Lily. Her live revolves completely around her daughter and she is not planning on finding a new love. Lily really wants her mother to fall in love again and writes a letter to Santa Claus. Children's book author Jake receives the letter and the story immediately affects him. He was looking for inspiration for a new story and he has now found it.
